This type of mosaic art usually takes several sessions to complete, similar to cross-stitch, which means that both types of projects are long-term — something you can work on over time. And, like cross-stitch, the process involves using smaller elements to gradually create a larger artwork. The difference is, instead of using different colors of embroidery floss to create an image, as you would in cross-stitch, you use faceted, resin “diamonds” to compose a sparkling masterpiece.
If you’ve never tried diamond painting before, the concept is fairly simple. With your first diamond painting kit, you’ll receive everything you need to create a beautiful work of art, including a canvas imprinted with codes of letters and numbers.
