About the artist

Anne-Julie Aubry

Anne-Julie was born in 1980 in a small town in eastern France, and is now living in the south near the sea. While still very young, she developed a passion for art and crafts. After studying and graduating from Beaux-Arts, she became a freelance illustrator. She worked for various publishers all over the world. Her work appeared in books and magazines, and she took part in numerous Art shows in the USA. She developed a world that has both a dark side, inspired by the adult she became, and a bright and colorful side, which is a kind of reminiscence of her childhood. Her inspiration comes from fairytales, inner feelings, nature, music & movies. She is now a full time digital artist, and sells her art online.

An older piece but a beauty

This comes with older drills and the canvas has guide line circles for the round diamonds. I really love the new design and have worked on some so going back to the older stuff will b weird. But suppose I’ll get use to it pretty fast as I have many older kits I haven’t even started yet

Very Beautiful

This is my very first diamond painting ever. I am very glad that I went with DAC, because the quality is definitely superb. It took me quite some time to finish it, because I worked on it on-and-off, here-and-there. The end result is really worth all the hours.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
