After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. I just started it and i love the colors.
Dies war mein 2. Versuch mit einem Mystery-Bild und diesmal war ich total begeistert.
Beim letzten habe ich als Neuling nicht auf den Künstler geachtet, nur das Genre.
Das war dann leider gar nicht nach meinem Geschmack :0(
Aber hier war es ganz anders!
Ein spannendes, wenn auch anstrengendes Arbeiten und immer wieder überraschend, an was man gerade arbeitet (Hund, Katze, Maus...?)
Anstrengend weil man viel mehr auf die Symbole schauen muss und keinerlei farblichen Anhaltspunkt hatte.
Das Endprodukt dann ein wunderschönes Bild, von einer von mir geschätzten Künstlerin.
Ich werde bestimmt wieder einmal ein Mystery-Bild kaufen, wenn der Künstler passt :0)
