After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Really enjoyable canvas!

This was a really fun canvas to work on. The colors were beautiful and the drills were perfection. I hope my granddaughter loves it as much when she gets it as I did while doing it for her. Dakota Daetwiler done a beautiful job on this one and the rendering was equally as wonderful.
