this kit was a gift from my partner’s mom, and it was a fun brisk project to do after recently completing a huge kit. took about 3 weeks, and had lots of fun colors so i never really got bored of the color swatches. i did feel like i got a lot more trash drills (stained drills, little holes in them, etc) than any of my other DAC kits, but considering this is a fairly old kit and the one i specifically got was from amazon and arrived in a sun bleached box, i do think the quality in more recent releases is much higher. the trash drills weren’t much of a problem as i had plenty of every color left over, just annoying to pick out when i noticed them. this was a good mix of color blocking and confetti, and a solid pick for a first kit for anyone looking to advance towards more intermediate kits in the future.
overall fun, cute, and who doesn’t love cats?!
