Summer with the Masters, and my calendar by Mucha!

Love it when a plan actually goes according to plan! Purchased this kit last year so I would have it ready for this year's Summer with the Masters event......and that's exactly what I did with it! I read up a bit about this artwork, and Mucha did this piece when he was hired to create an in-house calendar for a printing company. According to my calendar, I spent a lovely month and 1/2 working on this. The colors, which did not thrill me at first, really, really grew on me and are so calming and absolutely lovely. Also really appreciated the clean and clear interpretation of the artwork, I'm not a fan of crazy all-over confetti, so this was absolutely perfect in my book!

Beautiful Rendering.

This was my first ever diamond painting and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. The rendering is very well done and the finished piece is stunning. I love the color palette and use of ab drills on this canvas. The project also moved along rather quickly because of the amount of color blocking.

Beautiful

My first DAC! Loved the image and seeing it come together. There is a small discrepancy between the original artwork and the rendering of her hair in the bottom left portion of the painting, but the piece is so detailed overall it doesn’t distract at all from how beautifully it turned out.

Gorgeous!

The colours are absolutely gorgeous. This is by far my favourite that I have done until now. It is true that square diamonds can be a little bit more challenging, but the end result is fantastic. Totally recommended

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
