After graduating from the School of Visual Arts, Rose Mary freelanced in advertising, editorial and design before turning to children’s books illustration. Her two dogs--a Scottie and a Westie--inspire her to bring a sense of humor and tradition to her pieces, with smiling Santas, sweet animals and vintage-like palettes. How to use
This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
Step 3
Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
