I am a beginner of diamond painting. This is my 3rd one and the biggest one I ever done. This I found was difficult as I had a small work space and due to the size and detail took a long time to complete. There is a lot of confetti. A small 6x7 will take me on average 3 to 5 hours.
I found during this experience that I like diamond art that I can complete with two to three weeks. So I get a sense of accomplishment. This took me 8 weeks and at times you feel like it's never gonna end. So I think large paintings are for people that don't mind the length of time it will take to get done or the confetti.
Will I do another?
Yes. I want to do island time. But I feel that I will build up my patience and confidence a bit more.
There was a lot of trash in the drills and lots with pin holes. As I brought it through a destash group I had to use some with holes. However I didn't run out of drills as many other reviews said they have. I did spill some as well. However as I wasn't picky with them I think that was the reason I had enough. If I discounted all the ones with small holes then I maybe would have ran out of many colours.
I found many parts in the canvas that the drills were sliding. I didnt know if it cause its from an old kit or not .
