At first glance I thought this painting would be a lot of color-blocking, but it turns out, it was actually a LOT of confetti (which I love).

Stunning!

This was so much fun to work on. I did the background first and then the cardinal. The background was some color blocking...but it was broke up enough that it wasn't terrible. Then the cardinal....oh the cardinal. I started from head down and was blown away by how realistic and gorgeous it was. Cardinals are the way my dad visits me from heaven, so they are so special to me. I'm absolutely in love. If you're thinking about picking it up...do it! You won't regret your decision to.
