Swan Lake

I made this at someone else's request and had thought I'd be bored by the lack of colors, but it didn't turn out to be an issue. I did a fair bit of multi-placing, but I mostly used checkerboard placing and that made it a such a satisfying experience for me. It's stunning, in my opinion, and the glittery effect of round diamonds brings it to life. The one issue I experienced was that there were a few spots where the glue was sort of dried out. I thought I remembered someone suggesting to use a baby wipe to revive the glue so I tried that and it seems to have done the trick.

Absolutely stunning. It was a challenge with all thr dark colors. But watching it come to life made it worth the journey

I love this image, but it was a bit boring to work on since there are only 12 colors and it's so huge. It took me 8 months to complete this one because I had to take breaks to work on more colorful canvases. There's a lot of color blocking and line blocking, which I enjoy, but the dark colors made me lose interest after a while. But it's a lovely image once it's completed.

I worked this up three or four years ago. This is the largest one I had ever done and I’ve done several other since. It’s on a prominent wall in my home and every time someone comes in they comment on it.

I admit feeling a bit overwhelmed when I first started this one - so large and only 12 colours. I got through it surprisingly fast (most likely due to the minimal need to swap colours) and I'm now looking forward to hanging it on my bedroom wall
