After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

This is an extremely heavy confetti painting. I enjoyed working on every bit. There is about 10% colorblocking. This are the new drills and canvas grid. It is my first time working on the new and improved drills and canvas. I definitely see all the rage about them, especially the smaller grid area for me. Number symbols match the number on the schematic, which is sooo helpful for me. I have to many times reached for the wrong drill container.
