About the artist
David Maclean
As a digital artist for the past 15 years and a traditional artist for the 25 years previous to that (paint and brush on an easel), David currently lives among the vineyards and orchards with his wife of over 30 years. He is represented by one of the worlds leading art licensing agencies , and has quickly become one of the most requested artists over the past few years. His mother shares a vivid memory of picking him up after his first day of school, only to take him directly to an art supply store. It was here where she had seen what he’d created in class and knew she must help him pursue his talent. “This was his destiny, he was an artist.” And so it was.

Beautiful canvas

How to use
This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
Step 3
Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
