Absolutely loved it... almost
I just finished Red Panda Munchies and I have mixed reactions. I LOVE the red panda. The background is fine. I HATE the stump! The right side of the stump is fine, but the left side has several shades of whites, beiges, and light grays. I think it looks like he’s sitting in a puddle of bird poo. Having faith that it would look good after all the drills were on, I did just as the kit stated – and it still looked like bird poo. So, I popped off most of the left side of the stump and reworked it in blues and browns. (I wish I would have gone darker.) Of course, being a round kit, the light background showed around the new darker drills, so I tried micah powder for the first time. The result was adequate for that area.
Bottom line… I love the red panda. There were lots of drills, the glue was good, the fit was fine, there were very few trash drills. I would have given the kit five stars if the left side of the stump had been done the same as the right side – but I docked the score one point because of the bird poo.
