Since I cannot speak about the actual picture I can say the canvas is very soft to the touch. The canvas material lays flat quickly. The glue is poured glue and very sticky. The drills are very sparkly and have very little waste. I can say the finished picture is beautiful and colorful. Mystery Kits are fun to do and seeing the picture unfold as you work on it is a nice surprise.

About the artist
The fantasy art of Anne Stokes features striking designs and life like portrayals of fantasy subjects. Her art covers a broad range of themes, from the romantic and magical enchanted Forest, to the dark underworld of gothic vampires. Classical topics are reinvented with a strong design and impact, and new creatures are brought to life in a unique and eye catching manner. Anne is originally from London but now lives in the north of England, near Leeds with her son Leo and partner John. She started her art career as a merchandise designer and then worked as a freelance illustrator where she worked on a number of book, game and record products, which included producing concept art and illustrations for Dungeons and Dragons. As Anne’s art career progressed she moved solely into licensing her own creations and expanding the ranges of her fantasy themed paintings. Using symbolism within her pictures to convey meaning Anne’s artworks has been widely acclaimed. Working with Art Ask Agency her many paintings have been licensed on a wide range of products which are on sale worldwide, including T-shirts, posters, book covers, calendars, jigsaws, tarot cards, sculptures, mugs, jewellery and greetings cards. She continues to produce new works and has published several books.show more from the same artist
Mystery Kit #16 - Fantasy (Dragon) Reviews
The Reveal Is Amazing
Love the mystery paintings. They make you feel a bit like an artist watching the canvas come to life from black amd white to vibrant colors.
Love Anne Stokes. It turned out well. Wish I could share a picture. Alil on the dark side color wise. It sparkles and shines.
Awesome!! Always love DAC! YOU WILL TO.
Love this one
Loved working on this one. Everything about it is amazing, thank you DAC
I can't wait to get started on this.
I am excited to see what this will reveal.
Don’t miss out
The picture is not something that I would normally choose to do but I’m so glad that I did.
The image is stunning with amazing rendering and colors.
So I can’t show a photo…
…but I can say that doing this as my first mystery kit has got me hooked on mystery kits! I took the cover off, then cover the painting with release papers as I do every kit. But unlike other kits, I don’t know what the painting will look like. It is a true discovery process. The drills fit well and the painting has more of a variety of colors than I thought it would. I have another Anne Stokes mystery kit in my stash and I can’t wait to start it.
A Surprise for sure!
I bought this painting for my best friend as her first mystery painting. It turned out so beautifully and it kept us guessing for a long time. The dragon slowly appeared because she started from the bottom and worked her way up.
ABOSULETLY IN LOVE!
**** still a work in progress but i am loving how this is coming together. It is my first ever square diamond painting and my first one large one. I've only been able to work on it for the last two weeks, but I don't want to put it down. the diamonds look amazing on sparkle so well. I've only had one color that has given me issues of sticking together and having a lot of junk bits, and it is unfortunately one of the background colors so there is a lot of it. But that has been my only complaint overall, especially since three are so many colors and drills.
