A native of Western New York State and currently based in Boston, MA, Howie Green is an award winning designer, painter and sketcher who first came to international attention with the publication of his book Jazz Fish Zen: Adventures in Mamboland. First, please forgive my hiding part of the painting. I added names to it so I could give it as a gift.
As for the painting itself, it was the usual high quality we expect from DAC. The colors turned out to be even more vibrant than I expected. Perhaps it’s because I am used to doing the really large painting, but this painting seemed to go very quickly. I had it framed with a dark navy frame that I think made the colors pop even more. You won’t go wrong with this painting.
