This was my first DAC painting, and I got it for personal reasons. This past year I was undergoing multiple surgeries because of cancer. More often than not my leg was in a contraption, leaving one leg cockeyed. Flamingos became my symbol for fighting cancer, funny enough.

So to see a Flamingo, interacting with my favorite mystical creature, I had to have this painting.

It was a joy to work on. There was a good balance of color blocking and detailed work. The final image came out gorgeous! I'm delighted to have this finished piece in my collection.

The canvas is so beautiful from the rendering to the crystal clear drill field! The drills are so well done not a lot of “trash” (drills that are broken or have defects)drills! Works up super quick due to a lot of color blocking!
