Description

Release your thoughts and watch them float before you as bubbles in the illumination of enlightenment. Let the bronze’s glowing verdigris remind you of the transience of life, time and the depth of eternity. Harmony and serenity are sure to follow as you breath in the deep calm.

Canvas: Partial Drill

Designed to spotlight a specific section of the painting, partial drill canvases make artwork distinctly stunning. Since only part of the canvas is covered by the diamonds, your featured subject will shimmer and shine as it sparkles against the pre-printed portion of the background. Great for those who want to direct attention to the soul of their masterpiece.

About the artist

Julia Watkins

Julia Watkins, known as Energy Artist Julia, was what many considered a young prodigy, attending art school (NC State School Of Design) and taking graduate level painting classes at the age of 16. By 19 she was training under some of the most acclaimed master painters in portrait art at the NYC Art Student’s league. While she studied art, she supported herself working as an international model for names such as Channel and Yves Saint Laurent, gaining important “fashion sense” which is evident in her current art and jewelry designs. In 2003 she had an epiphany. Turning her back on a traditional art career she began focusing on creating art which emits positive energies and feelings as a means of emotional discovery and healing. The result was an outpouring of unique, highly creative pieces, focusing on energy swirls, while other paintings delved into the concept of energy orbs. The paintings have often been described as alluring, mesmerizing, energetic, magical, and hypnotic.

Happy Buddha

I had a great time working on this painting. Canvas/glue field was great. Laid flat pretty easily. Drills were very consistent with minimal trash. Symbols were clear and east to read. I loved the pops of color on the mostly green and grey field. As a beginner myself, I didn’t find this painting too difficult. The partial canvas is something different. I did find that my hand would stick to the glue around the small circles that dot the outer areas of the canvas. Fun project overall!

First painting!

Bought it as a valentines gift for my boyfriend. We both love it and he can’t wait to see it once finished. Beautiful colors! Partial print is nice for first painting.
