Simona Candini

Simona Candini graduated the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna, Italy and has been a full-time artist since 2010.Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big-eyed girls and improbable creatures. With a stirring of emotions translated onto each new work of art, Simona brings her love of the old fairytales and childhood imaginings to us in a unique and poetic way. She is a traditional artist and enjoys using oils, watercolor, acrylics, graphite and pencils on paper, canvas and wood boards. Simona hand paints and personalize most frames to match her artworks and make them unique as her art.

Great Detail

I love the Alice in Wonderland Canvases that DAC has. I have a wall that will hold them all once complete. Cardini put a lot of great details in this image n the rendering did it justice. Only 2 ABs for special drills but I plan on adding glitters n crystals to make it truely my own. 22"x29" square canvas should take me about 2 weeks to complete. Can't wait to get this one going soon I hope. But you know so many canvases so little time.

Bad diamonds

I order quite a few paintings from here and was very disappointed with this one. It’s gorgeous but a lot of my diamonds were in poor condition. They had bubble holes in them. Just frustrated because when you pay this much you expect to get better! I included a picture of just a few.

Stunning and a ton of fun

This one took me about 2 months. Really fun to work on. The colors are great. The little details weren't mushed but were clear and visible. The perfect size. No drill problems. Had a ton of leftovers in every color. Pictures never do these justice. The sparkle is perfection with the aid of well placed ABs (and a lot of ABs).

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
