I thought it would be fun to do as there are so many bright colors, not to mention the ABs and special drills. It was fun to see her come alive on the canvass but not as much fun as "Kitty Cuddles."
I loved working on this piece the blues and purples were such a perfect blend.

We all know DAC’s quality to be superb I have no issue with that. I’m also thankful for the strides they’re making as a company to provide more representation and variety in their products. However, this painting should’ve never been rendered as diamond art. I was excited to purchase it but upon receipt the colors of the skin are a extremely poor quality choice (blacks, greens, yellows). The eye is a black blob and she looks punched in the eye. Her skin reminds me of someone suffering from a bad case of eczema. The facial outline doesn’t add up for POC features in my opinion. This was the artist choice and painted what her minds eye sees. This painting/rendition leaves me pained and I will not be proud to hang this on my walls. I wish more consideration was taken when looking at THIS artists body of work. Not all needs to be rendered.
