Becca Golins started Dragons and Beasties in 2010. Her art style is highly influenced by everything she loved most growing up: Lisa Frank, cartoons, anime, Disney, and comics. The more color, the better! As a child, it was abundantly clear that Becca would have a career in art someday. Every scrap of paper was destined for dragon doodles, all school note margins packed with mythical beasts. Her passion for fantasy creatures started young and only burned brighter as she grew to adulthood. Dragons are her main focus these days, and she is very well known for her highly sought-after clay sculptures. She’s built a fiercely loyal following over the years, allowing her to become a full-time artist and creator. She often posts timelapse videos of her working on sculptures and drawings on her social media pages to encourage other growing artists and share her process. She lives a quiet, happy life with her little girl, 2 pet rats, and husband in Utah. Together, Becca and her husband run her thriving art business Dragons and Beasties, which has now expanded into vinyl figures, coloring books, enamel pins, and other collectibles featuring her art. The sole purpose of her creations is to bring light and joy to all those who see it, just happy little beasties that want to brighten your day and warm your heart!

Super cute!! Very organized abd fast shipping! My daughter loves it!
The "Sophia" diamond art kit was an absolute joy to complete and resulted in one of the sweetest pieces in my collection. The central character—a darling blue and pink dragon—is rendered beautifully, and the final piece captures its cuteness perfectly. The overall quality was fantastic: the canvas adhesive was excellent, the drills were brilliantly faceted and uniform, and the colors were so vivid they brought the fantasy subject to life with incredible sparkle. Focusing on Sophia’s fluffy wings and expressive eyes was a deeply relaxing process, and the high-definition result is charming and bright. I highly recommend this kit for anyone looking for a stress-relieving project with a truly enchanting finished product!

I had a lot of fun with this one! It was quick, small, and not many colors, but again, lots of fun. The color palette is one of my favs. Pastel blues and purples and pinks, OH MY!!! When you love a color palette it makes the dp so much more enjoyable imo. Dragons and Beasties has such cute artwork! I hope we see more pieces from them in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one!! The only thing I struggled with was the plastic film. It was placed crooked and the perforated lines were not easily tearable like they were supposed to be. Despite this, I still loved it and can’t wait to frame/hang it! 🩷

Completed this kit with my 5 year old - she loved it! These more snack sized kits are amazing as a joint activity. Colours are gorgeous, and despite not having a bunch of special drills, it’s so sparkly! DAC have upped their game with rounds, and this was a joy to complete.
