Rose Mary Berlin

After graduating from the School of Visual Arts, Rose Mary freelanced in advertising, editorial and design before turning to children’s books illustration. Her two dogs--a Scottie and a Westie--inspire her to bring a sense of humor and tradition to her pieces, with smiling Santas, sweet animals and vintage-like palettes. Rose Mary resides in NY with her husband, and enjoys the seasons and shoping at flea markets for items to restore, or use as props in her art.

Dogs are my favorit

I bought this one after Halloween. But I can't wait to display it next year. The little Scottie dogs are adorable. I love doing all the dog paintings. The charting on this is really good. Diamond art always has the best.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
