After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

We are working in this together with my mom. It will be a gift for a little girl to hang it in her room. The image is beautiful, not too many colors but a lot of sparkle. It os addictive, we cant wait to finish!
Had a small concern that maybe color H/11/939 is not enough but turned out to be plenty.

This was my first DAC diamond painting and only my second ever diamond painting and I loved it! The quality was great, I loved the perforated cover, the quality of the drills was excellent, and I had plenty of leftovers! The special drills were so well placed and make the canvas so so pretty! I painted the edges of the canvas and hung it in my cubicle and it brings a smile to my face every time I see it!!

I did my best to try and get the camera to capture what you see in person. Those iridescent drills just stick out so beautiful. It truly looks like a constellation in your room is about to flight off the canvas.
In terms of the dp process, I didn't actually enjoy this one that much. I had a lot of trash drills and it was a bit gappy. Also, I feel like I'm liking round drills less and less. But the finished result makes it obvious to me that round drills are definitely the way to go with this artwork.
