I love this piece put in 8 hours so far and I’m truly impressed

Love this canvas, the picture doesn't do it justice. I was short two drill colors.

Almost done with this one. It is huge but absolutely stunning.

I did this one for a dear friend who is also a neighbor of mine, she loves lighthouses. After I was done, I ordered a custom frame & then I framed it myself before I gifted it to her. As the person I gifted it to said, it looks a d turned out beautiful.

I made this for a friend who helped me through my healing after a battle with severe depression. He loves lighthouses and I know he will love this once it is framed.

It helps too that the name of this painting is perfect.

The colors are not as vibrant as i usually like but it matches the message it's trying to send. No matter how hard things get you are still here and are still standing strong. This will be a gift to someone who has been thru a lot and will be going thru more tough times. Even now she keeps going strong.

I had three big issues with this kit.

The first issue has more to do with me than the quality or art. When I bought the painting I was only thinking about the beauty and power of the art. I did not consider how painfully boring bringing this canvas to life would be.

The second issue was when I got to light coming further from the lighthouse. The browns and grays did not say "light" to me. It didn't look like the render; It looks muddy. I think if the colors were a few shades lighter it would have helped.

The third issue was the wave crashing at the bottom. In the render, you see these light blues blending almost seamlessly in with the gray of the wave. In the kit, those light blues are a darker fairy dust blue. While a beautiful color, it is completely stark against the gray rather than blended. It doesn't look right to me.

The drills, canvas, packaging all of that was as fantastic as usual. But I don't feel the end result truly reflected the rendering, so it wasn't the art I was expecting.
