Confetti Heavy Fun

Finally. FINALLY! Finished my fourth! Everyone talks about being slow...LOL I got a lot of you beat! Here is Black Cat Night 2 by Aja Trier. When I started it in September 2022, we only had a kitten. In between start and finish we got two puppies, lost one of the pups, and now might have lost our kitten who managed to slip out two nights ago. I am thinking about framing it and donating it to our local emergency hospital or my Vet's office.

I wasn't sure if I had enough drills, because one of those naughty pups got into two of my kits, and dumped them outside. (yes, she had sparkles in her poops for three days after, which had my husband in stitches) I used some drills that I had left over and saved from my completed Hedgehog kit, and used those ABs to help reinforce my slightly panicking self. Turned out it wasn't needed, but I still like the AB126 that I added into the water. I also changed the drills between the front legs, and once it was completed, realized I didn't like the white streak on the background mountain, so changed that as well. So those were the changes!

It took a while to complete, but it was fun, and the completion is simply a gorgeous shimmer of marvel to gaze at! I bought the canvas because I liked the placements of the ABs that I saw in the Sneak Peek that was done by Emeralds and Fairy Lights YouTube Channel. Lola a la Van Gogh

I enjoyed working on the bright color switches in the background.

The quality of the drills was very good, especially give there are also a lot of darker colors such a 310 in the cat and at the bottom part of the canvas.

I did a small adaptation by putting some extra highlights on the chest of the cat, to better resemble my own cat, Lola.

Stunning!

I bought this because I love cats and I loved the way the colors looked together. It's so gorgeous when finished. The sparkle is amazing and the colors are beautiful! There is quite a bit of confetti on this one.

There weren't many trash drills, considering the size of the canvas.

Gorgeous canvas, as always!

This is the first time I've had a DAC box arrived banged up, which was a bit strange since the outer mailing box was in perfect condition. Thankfully this wasn't a present for someone else and the canvas itself was fine (the sticker was a bit crumpled, but that's not important). The canvas is clear and colorful as always. This is my first kit with the new tool set and I'm excited to use the cute cover minder.

Beautiful painting

I haven’t started this yet but it has been in my wish list for a while. As a huge lover of Van Gogh’s artwork the fact that Aja Trier has incorporated my favourite animal with one of my favourite artists is a huge win. I am looking forward to starting this once I finish her other piece Tabby Night.
