Elisabeth Alba grew up in Pennsylvania, Florida and New York City, where she earned a master’s degree at the School of Visual Arts. She works traditionally with ink, watercolor, and acryla gouache, creating works focused on fairy tales, fantasy, and historical subjects. Now based in Western Massachusetts, she shares a studio with her husband, illustrator Scott Murphy.
