Patrick LaMontagne is a nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist and illustrator, but his paintings of funny looking animals bring him the greatest joy. (The animals themselves aren’t funny looking, that’s just how he sees and paints them.) How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
