After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Ich habe das Bild gestartet und war bereits nach dem Setzen der ersten Steine total begeistert. Das Bild ist wunderschön, leuchtende Farben und die Steine sind wie immer in absolut bester Qualität. Nach nur wenigen Wochen (ich glaube es waren zwei) war das Bild fertig gestellt und ich erfreue mich auch heute noch an diesem wunderbaren Motiv. Natürlich habe ich von der Künstlerin auch die anderen beiden Kraken-Bilder und ich freu mich schon heute darauf diese demnächst anfangen zu können :-)
