About the artist
Simona Candini
Simona Candini graduated the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna, Italy and has been a full-time artist since 2010. Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big-eyed girls and improbable creatures. With a stirring of emotions translated onto each new work of art, Simona brings her love of the old fairytales and childhood imaginings to us in a unique and poetic way. I'm in love!
I am almost lacking the words to say home much I love this kit. When the preview was released before Black Friday I knew I absolutely had to have Elphaba. I love the book Wicked and I really felt the artist captured the character of Elphaba perfectly in this picture. Working on her was a dream, the canvas and drills were perfect. I even had a little wiggle room to add a few enhancements and that's always fun. Next I'll be doing A Long Journey Home and I can not wait to hang them up together.

How to use
This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.
Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
Step 3
Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
