I sent this to my friend and her daughter who I usually craft with. They LOVE it!!!!
Being stuck at home with nothing to do. I've never been so happy to do anything else then my diamond art. It passes the time and you get a great picture at the end. I love my diamond art and this picture.
I have never had a problem with DAC. I have a stockpile so i have not had time to start this one yet but i know it will be great
This is a cute picture but it didn't transfer well to the canvas since the canvas is so small, about 8"x10". There are aspects of the picture that don't make sense, like the blue section on the left above the flames. In my mind it should be the front of the fireplace. So I modified it, using diamonds from a completed painting, to make it look like bricks. There were many such places where modifications were necessary to make the picture look like the original. The only way to do that is if you have leftover diamonds from completed paintings. And you need to be able to see the change in your head. That's the challenging part. The picture on the box is very small but still useable to figure out where the canvas differs from the original. Looking at the website would give you a larger picture.
So the subject of this kit is cute. However, it's disappointing that the canvas is so small that the picture didn't transfer well. I would suggest a very experienced person with a lot of extra diamonds from completed paintings try this one. It will take a lot of patience to get this to look like the original.
