About the artist

Joelle McIntyre

Joelle holds a BFA in Illustration/Visual Design from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth's School of Visual & Performing Arts. She is passionate about creating challenging puzzle compositions and painting in miniature. She is inspired by the 16th century Dutch still life painters and the Art Nouveau Movement. Joelle and her family, including a terrier named “Polly,” make their home and studio in Johnston, Rhode Island.

Beautiful

The colors are so vibrant. I’ve been waiting for Coastal Window to come in stock when I saw this on sale. Definitely one of the largest pieces I’ve done but I’m loving it as more color comes to life!!

So many ABs

At first, I was questioning the amount of white ABs in the fence and birdhouse, but I love how it turned out. It was pretty confetti heavy, but there were some areas of colorblocking.

Spring Gate

This is beauty... I will be giving as a gift for someone to try DAC. The diamond painting she got from other company as problems, missing diamonds, popping diamond etc. I have been telling her about DAC and she is so disappointed with company of her past diamond painting. So this was a early Christmas gift to her. i know she will LOVE DAC.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
