The fantasy art of Anne Stokes features striking designs and life like portrayals of fantasy subjects. The picture is not something that I would normally choose to do but I’m so glad that I did.
The image is stunning with amazing rendering and colors.
…but I can say that doing this as my first mystery kit has got me hooked on mystery kits! I took the cover off, then cover the painting with release papers as I do every kit. But unlike other kits, I don’t know what the painting will look like. It is a true discovery process. The drills fit well and the painting has more of a variety of colors than I thought it would. I have another Anne Stokes mystery kit in my stash and I can’t wait to start it.
I bought this painting for my best friend as her first mystery painting. It turned out so beautifully and it kept us guessing for a long time. The dragon slowly appeared because she started from the bottom and worked her way up.
**** still a work in progress but i am loving how this is coming together. It is my first ever square diamond painting and my first one large one. I've only been able to work on it for the last two weeks, but I don't want to put it down. the diamonds look amazing on sparkle so well. I've only had one color that has given me issues of sticking together and having a lot of junk bits, and it is unfortunately one of the background colors so there is a lot of it. But that has been my only complaint overall, especially since three are so many colors and drills.

Step 1
Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax
Step 2
Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
Step 3
Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
