I loved working on this canvas. I was a little concerned when doing the trim to her bodice and cape, as I didn't think the green and tan coloured drills would create the gold look that was in the original image of the painting... but after I had completed it - the drill colours seemed to combine and create a gold look. :) Yay! I put a gold mat around the painting and put in a white frame. She looks adorable and shimmers everytime you walk past her.

This translated so well to diamonds. Bonus it looks beautiful framed, even behind glass the diamonds sparkle. For my first diamond painting it turned out beautifully, I couldn’t be happier.
