I bought this product - bc of my apparent lack of awareness lol - when I went to remove a piece of release part & realized I had put it on upside down 😐😒. It took sooooo much strength to get it off that it the canvas felt as if I removed almost all of the glue!!! So I purchased this product thinking I was going to have to use it in order to fix that 2”x 4” section. Luckily, the glue wasn’t really removed as badly as I thought when I went to use it. So, I haven’t used it yet, but I will update the review as soon as I do (if I have to!).
Lo cogí por si acaso y todavía no lo he tenido que estar, pero tiene un aplicador muy práctico.
Had a fuzzy stuck to my canvas long before I started working on it, knew I'd need this stuff -- and super glad to say it worked great! It dried relatively quickly and the area was tacky just like new. I did a larger section around the unsticky part to make sure I got everything. The applicator is very similar to a silicone mask/makeup spatula, so if you lose yours that is a good replacement.
One gripe is that in shipping mine was banged around pretty good, packed loose in DAC's long box with a few canvases. I also didn't get a lid with mine, so I had to use a Glue Dot to 'close' it.
In order to have my 20x29” painting fit a 20x30” canvas I needed to add half an inch on both the top and the bottom. I continued the pattern that was there, using the adhesive glue directly onto the picture canvas. It worked great! My husband said you’d never know there was an inch in total added.
I never thought I would have to use the canvas adhesive. Recently I did a diamond project ( not DAC ) for a friend. She absolutely loved the picture so I said ok. Oh what a mess! Long story short there were areas where the adhesive was questionable, problem solved! I’ve never had this problem before so I did refer her to your site for future projects if she’d like.
This is a must if you Diamond paint !!
I bought this product to restore a section of the glue on my canvas. When i pulled a piece off of my release paper the glue had come off.! I applied this adhesive to the section needing repair and the glue was restored and my drills were able to be applied- good as new! Comes with a small applicator brush. Allow adhesive to dry for a few minutes before applying drills. A+ product-Thank you DAC!!
Although we all know DAC has super sticky canvases . However if your canvas should become less sticky for some reason this is perfect for making your canvas sticky again. I love the brush to make it easy to just get into one or two spots.
