About the artist

Simona Candini

Simona Candini graduated the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna, Italy and has been a full-time artist since 2010. Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big eyed girls and improbable creatures. With a stirring of emotions translated onto each new work of art, Simona brings her love of the old fairytales and childhood imaginings to us in a unique and poetic way. She is a traditional artist and enjoys using oils, watercolor, acrylics, graphite and pencils on paper, canvas and wood boards. Simona hand paints and personalize most frames to match her artworks and make them unique as her art.

Love Wizard of Oz!

I have been wanting this one for quite some time. So glad I did not have to buy it in a destash. I regretted immediately not buying it when it was first released. Definitely worth the price!

Nice picture and quality

All of the colors, but seriously the AB #2 is my favorite in this picture! Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie and this is an awesome perspective. This is also my first square and I’m enjoying raking on this picture.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Step 1

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Step 2

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side

Step 3

Apply each diamond to the adhesive canvas template, placing it based on the color-coded chart
