i love camilla's kits
Es ist das erste Kit in runden Steinen von DAC und hier haben mich besinders die Farben - natürlich auch das Motiv - angezogen.
Ich muss gestehen - ich tendiere dann doch eher zu eckigen Steinen aber es gibt eben immer wieder Motive die mir sehr zusagen und dann nur in runden Steinen angeboten werden. Es war mir also ein Versuch wert, ob ich mich damit anfreunden kann. "Geschmackssache, sagte der Affe..."
Runde Steine gehen schneller finde ich, hier war ich nach 5 Tagen fertig, aber mir fehlte das schöne Knirschen, wenn ein Stein in seine Lücke gedrückt wird und ich musste hier nachträglich mehr die Reihen begradigen, als bei Bildern mit eckigen Steinen.
Die Steine waren heftig statisch aufgeladen und sind mir aus den Döschen wie Flöhe entgegen gehüpft. Upkitten war sehr mühsam. Das Bild lag aber auch 1 Jahr im Regal ehe ich dran gegangen bin. Ob das etwas damit zu tun hat, weiß ich nicht :0}
Nun denn - das Endprodukt gefällt mir trotdem und nachdem ich den Rand mit pertrol-farbener Acrylfarbe angemalt habe, hat es auch einen schönen Kontrast.
Alles in Allem - wieder die hervorragende Qualität von DAC, sehr schönes Motiv und ein befriedigendes Ergebnis :0)
I was missing a packet of the special drills on this kit. I emailed customer service about this. In less than 2 minutes, I had a confirmation email of the replacement special drills being sent out. I'm speechless over this customer service action. Totally wonderful experience.
