Dreaming of Being Human

This painting was my unicorn and I have had it in my stash for almost a year. I wanted to improve my diamond painting skills before even attempting this one. Pictures do not do this piece justice!

Dakota never disappoints, and this color palette and theme are always a win around here! I typically look forward to getting to the end and finishing paintings because when you paint something bigger, you’re always relieved to get the end. This was the exception and I was sad to see her finished! She is definitely one that will be framed and hung.

This painting is absolutely stunning! It turned out perfectly. The quality of the diamonds and the canvas are superb. I thoroughly enjoyed completing this picture.

Opening this has made me so excited! It is one the most beautiful diamond paintings I now own. You can tell that it is amazing quality in both canvas and diamonds. I look forward to doing this diamond painting!

This was an absolute joy to paint. Lots of detail, beautiful colors, mystical subject matter. It's hanging over a guest bedroom in a frame that reflects the curls in the mermaid's hair. One of my favorite frames.

I love Dakota’s work so much. This is mostly line block confetti , which is my favorite type of confetti. I used the dp with sparklers suggestions but eliminated some of the crystals, I’m not a big fan of crystals. I changed the white abs in front of her face to white pixie because white abs are too pink imo but kept the white abs for the foam in the sea and in her hair. I used extra Luna bubbles to outline most of the big bubbles and pearls for squares in her hair instead of a crystal. My husband will be framing this and she’ll go up next to Kraken 2 in my living room. She was a joy to work up and took me about 6 weeks.
