Simona Candini graduated the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna, Italy and has been a full-time artist since 2010.Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big-eyed girls and improbable creatures. With a stirring of emotions translated onto each new work of art, Simona brings her love of the old fairytales and childhood imaginings to us in a unique and poetic way. She is a traditional artist and enjoys using oils, watercolor, acrylics, graphite and pencils on paper, canvas and wood boards. Deep Sea Beauties by Simona Candini was such a joy to complete! The artwork is stunning—whimsical, detailed, and full of underwater magic. The colors are so vibrant and the rendering really brought the image to life with every drill I placed.
As always, Diamond Art Club delivered top-notch quality. The canvas was soft and easy to work with, the drills were super sparkly with barely any trash, and the symbols were clear and easy to read. I got completely lost in this project in the best way.
If you’re a fan of fantasy art or just love beautiful mermaid designs, this one is a must-have. I absolutely loved every minute of working on it and I’m so proud of the final result!
