Myles began freelancing in 1986, designing logos, illustrating, and completing architectural renderings. Following his interests, he started creating and licensing fantasy artwork in 1991. With varnished layers of gouache, watercolor, and acrylic, Pinkney creates lush textures, intricate details, and characters who are full of personality. I decided to work on the Wizard and I thought it would take awhile to finish. It worked up so fast! Great combination of color blocking, line blocking and a little confetti too! Do not be intimidated by the size! Drills were awesome, grid was great and I enjoyed every minute of it!!! The rendering was great as well!
The colors are vibrant and beautiful. This is my second Myles Pinkney diamond painting (I also have Astronomer). They are a joy to watch come to life!
This painting is gorgeous and drills look to be excellent quality. Only reason I took a star is this is an obviously older packing of this art and it doesn't include the card and the cover minder had separated from the magnet. Easy fix but still. That being said, I'm still glad I got this painting and I would/will be buying again.
