I got this with the intension of keeping it for myself but once I started it I kept thinking my friend would absolutely love Angel De Los Muertos. Once it was done I framed it and gifted it to her on her Birthday. She lost it when she unwrapped it, she was so happy. Once she hung it up in her office I started to notice details I missed. I thought the brown around her head was hear but its actually wings! and the candies and the sarape ect. This is such a beautiful peace of art.
I loved working on this canvas. The sugar skulls are so pretty… especially with the AB drills.

I have wanted this ever since discovering DAC but wasn’t buying it because I didn’t like the red in the skulls. Then I had a duh moment…I can easily change the red to my preferred color. When I saw it on sale, my gut was telling me it was about to be archived. I was right, it is no longer being carried and now I don’t have to regret not getting her! I’m a happy camper. PS:she’s a big girl!!!
