Joelle holds a BFA in Illustration/Visual Design from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouths School of Visual & Performing Arts. She is passionate about creating challenging puzzle compositions and painting in miniature. She is inspired by the 16th century Dutch still life painters and the Art Nouveau Movement. Love it
This was a very colorful and fun piece to make. Many types of birds, butterflies and flowers. Squares fit perfectly together. I made this during ice storm to feel like it was summer!

I started this September 1st as a tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett. The colours are stunning and the birds are beautiful. I loved every minute working on this piece. It was my first time doing squares and only my second DP so it probably took me a lot longer to do then someone more experienced.
