Growing up in the mid-west, Ruth adored pouring over books about Gods and heroes and going on camping trips with her family. After earning an art degree, getting married and trying a career in the role-playing industry as an illustrator, she realized that “playing it safe” was just not for her. So, she squashed her love of fantasy, art, camping and horses into a new career at Renaissance Festivals and a remarried an Aussie she met through an MMORPG. Hard getting started as it was not a choice of mine but for my grandson. After starting I had a hard time putting it down as it was beautiful and then I wanted to keep it. No such luck as he thought it was absolutely awesome
