After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I purchased this canvas a while back in honor of my Mother, who I lost 4 years ago. She loved cherry blossoms and had a weeping cherry tree in her front yard that was simply breathtaking when it was full of blooms. I began this kit on April 1st for an event that DAC is sponsoring and finished it on May 4th. The canvas and drills were a dream to work with and the art work and rendering is spectacular! First picture is of my finish, second is of my Mom's weeping cherry tree. Thank you DAC!

This is a gorgeous kit. The pinks in the blossoms and butterflies were my favorite to place. The drills and canvas were, of course, amazing quality. Highly recommend!
