So glad that this is a thing. I love the new pens but they kept splitting. This is a great item
I bought this tip to upgrade the twist pen. Its smaller at the end, makes it easier to place drills.
I have been using this on the new pen included in the tool kit and I absolutely love it
This is alot better than the plastic, but it is a little difficult to twist and get more putty out.
I usually never have anything bad to say about DAC, but this is the worst tip ever. It’s near impossible to twist. My fingers were sore for hours after attempting over and over again to make this work. I contacted customer service and they suggested kneading the putty, didn’t work. Others suggested the wax, which defeats the purpose, since I LOVE the putty, but it didn’t work either. So now I have this $10 tip just sitting in a drawer because it’s useless. The concept is excellent, but there needs to be more R&D before DAC releases new products.

**Remember to take the plunger out of the placer in the pen with your kit** You’ll need that to make the putty come out of this placer. Since this placer is thinner than the plastic one, it doesn’t push other drills over when I use it. No issues getting the putty to come out. A very good upgrade.
