When I saw this kit, I knew I wanted it and it did not disappoint. I added in a couple of touches too. After building the house, I painted the wooden latch points to match the color of the trim. I then added some Dotz glue and glued on the colorful dotz over those join points. When I flipped on the light, I received ooohs and aaahs! Great beginner kit and will be included in my Christmas decorations for years to come!

Overall, this Diamond Art project was simple to complete, the colors of the dots and drills were beautiful and bright and the instructions were easy to follow.
However, the construction of hose was tricky, but not complicated. A tip: do not be afraid to use a little force when assembling the walls and roof. You may need some sort of glue to hold the roof peaks together.).
The bottom of the house has a pre-cut hole to insert the enclosed candle (Note: the kit does not include a battery for the candle). Unfortunately, the candle did not fit up into the hole and sit flush with the house, making the house sit uneven on a flat surface.
I sent an email, along with photos, to Diamond Art who promptly responded with an apology and mailed a brand new kit without any hesitation. In my opinion, that was stellar customer service. It shows Diamond Art stands behind their products and wants to ensure all customers are satisfied.
