After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I am so pleased with this artwork. This will be my seventh masterpiece and all I have worked on are large prints. I do diamond art in the evening everyday, so I am very methodical and meticulous about my work. Everything goes on my wall and have had offers to sell.
