After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I love Dakota Daetwilers artwork and DAC does a fantastic job of rendering it as well! This kit was a joy to work on. The drills for the canvas were amazing and it worked up quite quickly. I loved it!

I know I say it every time, but I absolutely love Dakota Daetwiler! DAC & Dakota are the perfect combination, for the most stunning diamond paintings. This piece, at 65x87cm, isn’t necessarily massive, but might still be considered large to some people. The results are fabulous though.
