Baylee is an illustrator living in Vancouver, BC. She is also a popular YouTuber with over 1.15M subscribers. Initially, she went to school for Animal Science, hoping to get into vet school. After three years, she decided to follow her artsy side, which has been a hobby since childhood. Baylee earned a diploma in Animation Art & Design at the Art Institute of Vancouver, and worked in the animation industry for a while before deciding to take the self-employment route. Baylee shares her art process on her YouTube channel, where she makes all kinds of videos about art. She also has a vlog channel where she documents her day-to-day life as an artist.

Beautiful

I am happy to say that the actual image you receive is much darker than shown on the product images for this listing. The artwork gives off a lovely cozy vibe as a result and feels calming to look at. I did find that the lighting in the artwork does mean you have to use several different drills to achieve the soft gradient look and so it took me quite some time to complete the background. However, the character goes by much faster while still maintaining a beautiful gradient throughout the artwork. I encourage you to take a look at my attached video to get a better idea of the complexity this piece requires. It is definitely worth it.

Color Blocking Halloween Fun

I love Bailey J's Art and knew this was the kit I wanted to work on for the event "Drills & Chills 2022!" I loved the chunks of color blocking. I believe that this would be a great beginner square project. The quality of the drills was excellent. I loved every minute of this kit!

Hey guys

This is such a cute canvas. It’s perfect for halloween. The drills came with a mix of new drills and old drills. It’s very sparkly so far. It’s a really fun kit to complete. A good mix of confetti and colour blocking.

How to use

This meditative craft involves placing hundreds of sparkling resin rhinestones, one-by-one, on an adhesive color-coded canvas to create a vivid, shimmering work of art.

Dip the tip of the applicator tool into the strip of wax

Pick up each diamond by pressing the applicator to the diamond’s rounded, faceted side
