Wonderful quality and so beautiful! The shimmery shades are so mesmerizing. Fun kit - would recommend for beginners looking for their first larger project.
I saw an add on FB for DAC & had never heard of diamond painting before? This was one of my first purchased, I chose to start with this kit first, as it has a lot of color blocked areas & I thought that would be helpful for a complete DP'ing newbie. I did underestimate the size. For someone completely new to DP'ing, I was a little deer in headlights when first unravelling it lol.
As noted, this was my very first DP experience ever. I did have A TON of static electricity issues with these diamonds. I had previously joined the FB group, so I searched tips & tried freezing them which did nothing. It was honestly a pretty horrible first experience taking most of them out of the initial plastic baggies. We're talking "JUMPING" drills.. EVERYWHERE! I wanted to cry, I worried that I had lost so many drills but managed to contain the electrical jumping mess & would find (hopefully) most of them.
Fast forward to working on the actual kit... It is beautiful, the drills have 'calmed down' for the most part but I do have a container every now & again of a certain color/s I have to be careful taking out of the plastic container they're now in.
The quality of the canvas is amazing! (I have nothing to compare it to, but I can tell this will stand up to the test of time), the sparkle on them is incredible, & love looking back to see the depth of the image which is just crazy to me how it can be made with different color diamonds?! This is my first diamond art that I’m ever doing. I like how shiny the drills are and how everything is labeled the numbers. Granted I did lose a few drill bits but it’s ok. I’m almost done with it so I cannot wait til it’s done! ☺️
