I’m very happy with this painting, this was the first of Chrissabug’s zodiac series which was released as a square and the rendering is perfect. I love the colour palette, all the pinks and purples are very pretty.

I’m very happy with this painting, this was the first of Chrissabug’s zodiac series which was released as a square and the rendering is perfect. I love the colour palette, all the pinks and purples are very pretty.
I made this kit as a birthday gift for my brother's girlfriend who is a Libra and loves sparkle. Chrissabug is one of my favorite artists and I was not disappointed by this!
Pros: The use of the crystals as the insanely gorgeous purple border and lettering of Libra was SUCH an inspired choice. I need more paintings with this inclusion, it's STUNNING. The softness of clothing and the background blending is so perfectly rendered too.
Cons: Her chest is just not the right skin tone. Her arms and face rendered very well but her chest is mostly the same shade of pink and it just doesn't look right.
I used to think that Libra always had the ugliest symbol in the zodiac but oh wow - did Chrissa change my mind! I can’t wait to start working on this one!
