Simona Candini graduated the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Bologna, Italy and has been a full-time artist since 2010.Her works, showcased in galleries around the globe, embody a beautiful yet sometimes dark world inhabited by big-eyed girls and improbable creatures. I love the Wicked Witch and the Wizard of Oz. I just had to have this painting and it did not disappoint. Amazing quality and I never ran out of drills. The rendering and finish are awesome as always.

I am almost lacking the words to say home much I love this kit. When the preview was released before Black Friday I knew I absolutely had to have Elphaba. I love the book Wicked and I really felt the artist captured the character of Elphaba perfectly in this picture. Working on her was a dream, the canvas and drills were perfect. I even had a little wiggle room to add a few enhancements and that's always fun. Next I'll be doing A Long Journey Home and I can not wait to hang them up together.
